Born in Barcelona, raised all over Spain. My work is expressive and personal, but it’s also a tool for dialogue. I want to make art for people and about people—art that feeds the soul and becomes a source of happiness. I crave a reaction, a response. I like creating things that are relatable; I want to establish a dialogue between the world, others, and myself. Whether through my poetry, my posters, my photos, or my books, I want someone to look at them and see themselves. I want art you can get involved with—art you can interact with, underline, comment on. Yes, I want to make the kind of piece you take a photo of because you felt identified with it, because you feel like you understand it, because it feels like a part of you.

I’m impatient and impulsive—I get an idea and I want it now. For me, the final result matters the most, and even though the process is important, experience has shown me that I’m someone who needs disciplines that offer a certain immediacy when creating. Everything is very spontaneous, and if I can have it from one day to the next, even better. That’s why you’ll see me using materials and techniques that—no matter how much planning they require beforehand—allow the act of creation to be as instantaneous as the idea itself. The computer gives me Ctrl+Z, the camera gives me one click, poetry gives me a thought turned into words. My work is my everyday life—I need the way I express it to be the same.

My current work is trying to slip into your daily life and let you welcome me into it—to make you see that your everyday routine is more art than when someone paints your portrait and it looks like you. I’m making things that go unnoticed because they blend so well into your day-to-day that, when you see them later, you can’t separate them from yourself. All of this comes from nothing else but life itself, and from realizing that, in the long run, many small actions together add up to more than a single big one. And I want to be a small, stubborn, constant little bug that fills your everyday life with creativity—and then, if you feel like it, you can tell me whether you relate to it or not.
